This is a clipping from a photo taken by Kittyhawk, the creator of the webcomic "Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki" and a guest/panelist at both Ichiban 'Con 2012 and Kira Kira 'Con 2012, on Sunday (03/04/12) at Kira Kira 'Con.
My friend here brought back his ST:09 Redshirt costume for Day Two, but sadly, unlike when he debuted it at Otakon 2011, I wasn't able to run around getting him "killed" by a host of other characters.
The fact that UNCC was really cracking down on weapon props, resulting in a rule for the 2nd day that no gun props were allowed no matter how unrealistic they might be, didn't help.
Thankfully I still had my "Motion Picture" Tricorder prop, so at Kittyhawk's suggestion we just had him lie "dead" while I'm scanning away, totally oblivious. If only the picture hadn't come out so blurry, it would have been perfect...
