Black Captain's Waistcoat: En Garde

I will certainly say one thing about color-swapping the "Generations" Captain's Waistcoat into a black-on-gold color scheme: the new costume goes much, much better with my LARP Action Props Captain's Sabre, which is standing in for the retractable duranium-bladed cavalry sword wielded by my original character, Captain M. Tobias Sun, who is meant to be a lethally skilled fencer, trained in both modern sport and several classical dueling forms and former captain of the Starfleet Academy Fencing Team. The sword already had a very prominent black-and-gold theme with its ornate guard and black handle, leading to a very fluid and colorful harmony between costume and prop.
